  12. I was 19, in my second year of college. I remember riding with my dad in his 61 Chrysler Newport. Handled pretty well in the snow. At least, Unc, thanks to Frank, we can think of our lives as vintage wine from fine old kegs, from the brim to the dregs we pour sweet and clear, it was a very good year.

  16. Unc. That was when Mayor Wagner declared a car ban in NYC. I still remember walking my mom to 13th Ave on a tundra like 75th st.
  17. I remember having to depend on WE6-1212 for temperature updates and praying that the frozen would stay that way. Of course there was always the street lamp on the pole on 75th st. near 11th Ave. Unc might remember that.
