    QPF on both the 3k and 12k NAM was cut in half from 12Z to 18Z up here on the northern edge.

    30/28 with fog lifting a bit in the past hour. Its been above freezing here for about an hour since Friday evening.

    2019-20 winter (DJF) at DCA had 26 days with a negative daily temperature departure, two of those -10. But there were 65 above normal days including 26 with at least a +10.

    Don't have 500mb maps, but found this one in a folder on my hard drive. Looks like a much better high for that storm.

    Decent gusty snow shower moving through here has laid down a dusting on most surfaces. 32 degrees.

    I thought StormVista was supposed to have realistic clown maps? TT has my yard at 1/2" and the map Metfan posted has 12".

    12Z PARA-GFS in fantasy range has an historic snowstorm for the coastal areas of SC, on par with Christmas 1989.

    I measured close to that on 2/7/2018 and it was a hell of a mess. Brought down large trees all over our neighborhood.

    It isn't even done at that point. 24+ hours of freezing rain with temps in the mid- to upper 20's and more than 1" QPF would definitely leave a mark. Glad it will change in the coming week.
