  1. 4.5F with a little over 4" new over 2 days Thinking back to last year, i think all 100" that fell was paste, or at least it felt like it was. So having some snow fall the past couple days at 15-25F feels more "normal" i guess.
  2. My station says 32.0F. I see a good amount of PWS near 32F even at or below 1k in the valley here 30 mins north of Mitch. Snowing pretty good.
  3. Normal DEC here, decent snow that gets wiped clean...
  4. On a brighter note, Mtns have done well, but also pretty good start down in valley too. 22.1" so far.
  5. GFS and Euro keep SVT in U30s to low 40s during the deluge. CMC is a total furnace and a prob wipeout. Just hope for a colder rain I guess and maybe late flip. The decent anafront snow doesn't look as likely as of recent runs.
  6. ALY maybe little aggressive. Would need really solid snow growth and 15-1+ ratios to get a foot from this.
  7. Yea, being west of the spine normally works out in these setups.
  8. Just stick with "congrats Woodford" and pretty much cant go wrong..lol
  9. Look at HRRR and 3k. Bennington never jacks, its a pit. Its east and northeast of them. They will probably still get a few inches though, I know your new-ish to SVT, lot of terrain nuances come into play on pretty much every system, even clippers.
  10. That's mostly S/SW upslope into the Adirondaks and Southern Greens. Why you are seeing higher totals from most guidance in those areas. We actually do pretty well in this area of SVT on SW winds. I see now Wiz mentioned that.
  11. 3.02" all at 34-38F. Rough. I was still watering some stuff just last week, so guess I can stop that at least.
  12. Man, it's ripping in the Browns vs Steelers game. Guess some lake effect..
  13. Just another top 10er. We mow and grill.
  14. Oh nice, surprising. Overall, little past peak here, Reds really popped about a week ago. Normally Columbus day is peak-ish give or take a couple days. I think it was a little early this year.
  15. Must have been a zoo on the Equinox toll road? Never disappoints though, except maybe tom and Monday..lol
  16. It's almost always peak here in the valley (west slopes greens and east slopes of Taconics)Columbus weekend, so it normally works out well for the peepers. The SVT high plateau area down by Mitch is is past though. I have not been up there recently, but would guess the Stratton and elevated East Slopes are probably as well already.
  17. Entire state of VT socked in with clouds..sounds about right.
  18. 23-24 had an interesting distribution here in SVT too. I ended up with 11" more than Mitch, despite him probably averaging 40-50" more per season and only 25 miles south of me. Very weird and probably low prob of that happening again.
  19. Actually what is crazy is my sister and brother in law are literally next door neighbors with them, its farm country in western part of SVT. We were at their house yesterday, a sea of State Police and FBI as you can imagine. Obviously lots of speculation and theories going around. Horribly tragic and sad for sure. Its a well know family name that owns most of the land and has been in this area for generations.
  20. Could be rust. I am seeing it in my lawn, but only the more shady section where the dew remains longer. Most of my lawn is sunny and will be prob be toast by the weekend if it doesnt rain this week. That has never happened in the 10 years I've been in VT, not even close really.
  21. Only Sept 7th, but definitely has an early Oct vibe just going by how busy it is. Guess you can still do the "VT fall stuff" without any leaf peeping.
  22. Honestly going with Scotts or Pennington isn't going to be that much cheaper I don't think. You could probably use a "contractors mix" for the cheapest option from Tractor Supply or somewhere like that, but you are going to get a lot of weed seeds and undesirable stuff in there. If you don't care about that really then maybe go that way. Otherwise price out Jonathan Green versus the Big Box store stuff and see what that actual cost difference is. Also looks pretty Steiny moving forward, seems like you have a big yard so would be hard to keep the stuff watered.
  23. They have been around here in SVT for a few months..I want to say it was around $30 for a 4 pack at the place in town here.
