The 9 i got overnight melted down to about 3" that rainy day. The evening ull was the best part. I don't want that when models have been insisting on a foot plus without the 45 degree drizzle. Horrible compared to what this weekend could bring.

Horrible storm here lol. I got about 9" before flipping to rain at 5am. It was like 45 and drizzly the entire next day. That evening was the main event here. I received 5" of snow in a couple hours along with lightning.

I wasn't expecting it to feel like upstate NY this morning here in the lowlands. My point and click confused me for a second. I thought i had to set on Lacona NY when I looked at the long range forecast. Awesome period of deep winter incoming. 10

I had a great late afternoon hike. The snow came down harder than I expected. The temperature fell faster than I thought it would. I received more snow than I thought i would. It's probably a solid half inch. Everything is white. The trees are beautiful.

Couple flakes on Bacon Ridge. The breeze has picked up and it feels cooler.

My temp actually dropped a degree. Is it possible colder air is bleeding in? The precip to my south looks like it wants to surge north and hit 95 and east. Maybe that's why there's a WWA? HRRR looks like it's west the last run or two.

I miss last January. Here in the lowlands alone the South River the wetlands all froze solid. The tributaries froze up pretty nicely as well. I think it was 2018 we had a lot of ice in the Mid Bay region.

Back in the 90's I thought that area was snow central. 200+ a season lol. Same with Carroll County. Carroll County always jacked while my county would be pouring rain. You know "east of the cities" was a hell scape. That's when we use to get ocean storms. The past 10 years it's been luck over elevation. I'm sure here soon the worm will turn and I'll get driving rain while you brag about how it's the best snowstorm in years.

They are nice. I'm just frustrated lol. Wasn't that beast in 2003 an overruning event? It dumped all day long as the moisture overran the boundary. Then the low came up the coast that night and dropped 3" of sleet on top of 20 inches of snow.
