    Just saw a large pine tree come down and Woodbine Rd is closed due to trees down. We're sitting at 32.4 and steadily raining. It's starting to look a little sketchy with hanging silver maples everywhere.

    I was thinking the same thing. It's still accumulating pretty fast though. I'm not use to this little cold micro climate I live in now. Cool being on the cold side of the fence. I bet two miles down the hill It's 33 and rain.

    Really bad here in Carroll. Dumping freezing rain.

    Two hour delay here in Carroll just announced. Temp down to 29.

    Ahhh.. life in the lowlands. I don't miss it. It's been hovering at 33 here on the Carroll County highlands lol. I'm expecting my location to do well with this one. We'll hang on to ice longer then 2 miles down the hill will.

    It was really wild driving around this morning. I had to run and get some last minute ingredients this morning. I left the house at 7:45am and it was 41. I drop about 400' into a lower area down near 70. It was 33 with heavy frost. Pretty interesting living up here. Last week it was raining until a half mile from my house. I came up one last hill and boom. Suddenly it was all snow.

    I was wondering why people in the swamps were reporting mid 20's this morning when it was 35 here. As I dropped down into a little valley this morning it was coved in thick frost. High spot where I am felt almost warm.

    That's odd. Temp dropped here to 33 last night then rose to 35 this morning. Guessing the high moving east is the reason.

    Just fell to 17. Wasn't expecting mid teens tonight. Woodstove burns 24/7 here. Just with different intensity depending on temps.

    I feel like the same is going on here on Parrs Ridge. Weak echoes but heavy rain. Chilly out too.

    I was inspecting mine a few days ago. I'm planning on 90+% wood usage this season. I've got about 8 cords of seasoned oak ready to torch.
