Yeah. That's another famous snow town. I also like the town of Kosoag. Seems like a nice little country town. Everyone rides around town on snowmobiles. Instead of biker bars they have snowmobile bars. It sounds like Ava is the most famous snowtown on the Tug.
He's back in Deep Creek. We're kicking around the idea of meeting up next week and sharing a place on the Tug. I want to go to Ava, NY to check out possible rentals. I'm planning to spend next Jan in the town of Ava. Its ground 0 for lake effect.
Holy crap! Is this true? 40" overnight on top of 60"? Is their other records of this? I thought the 22" overnight in Annopoils during the winter of 1776 was a lot.
I know it doesn't seem dry because it's a muddy nasty mess out there but it is. Our active pattern collapsed and the drought base state seems to be in charge. The next 10 days looks dry. I'd love an actual storm. What happened to big coastal rainers. I'd take a good nor'easter with wind and a few inches of rain over some 4" march slop storm that melts before it's over.
I'd call it a party cloudy, chilly day advisory. I'm ready to till my garden and call it a winter. Unfortunately March is my least favorite month of the year and will probably be forever 50 and drizzly.
If i didn't know this isn't happening here in AA County I'd think I'm about to jack. It looks like a snow event is moving into the lowlands if you're going by the radar. Damn this sucks
Justin Berk isn't giving up on using this storm for click bait. He says the models are missing something and Annopoils is getting snow tonight woohoo lol
West wind is not keeping Annopoils warmer. That's "offshore wind". Onshore brings marine air from off the bay. I'm not sure why DCA can't record a damn temp correctly lol
