West wind is not keeping Annopoils warmer. That's "offshore wind". Onshore brings marine air from off the bay. I'm not sure why DCA can't record a damn temp correctly lol

I agree. He's annoying but he's one of us. He's been trying harder to not get overly excited lately and dropping weenie maps on the soccer mom's that follow him. He does know our region really well. Better then most local Mets imo.

I use to make fun of Justin Berk over that. Not laughing as hard after this season even though I benefited from it. The reason were in a drought is because the same area in VA has gotten all the rain for the past 8 months. We just get scraps up here. Our rain events lately have busted hard on qpf but no one cares so no one noticed.

I remember a few days after the blizzard of 96 we had flurries in the forecast. It ended up dumping snow and I got 7" on top of almost 2'. I think that was a inverted trough. They definitely can have surprises. Those are probably our best shot at positive bust in this modern age.

Looks at it this way. If every model showed a foot of snow incoming and suddenly the nam drove the storm to Pittsburgh it would have a 95% chance of being correct and we'd all freak. Then every other model would follow. Maybe a reverse bust? Lol
