  1. You are a simpleton. I know you are ancient, but perhaps you are aware of the existence of smartphones. Also, if the proxy server policy doesn't block or flag it, management doesn't give a fucck. Plenty of people with office jobs spend half their time on Facebook and Twitter.
  2. lol. You are such a simpleton.
  3. I earn my bucks when I have the floor. Otherwise, I don't do shit- and still get paid well for it.
  4. No it wasn't torchy at all. The pattern has simply been persistently the antithesis for what we need for snow here. Lots of NW tracking mild to chilly rain events followed by transient dry and cold.
  5. With 60s and even 70s over next five days, one might say the back of winter is broken. Except winter fell and broke its back months ago.
  6. 24 here this morning. Probably wont see a temp below freezing again until next November.
  7. Ridging near AK is not modeled to get into a favorable position. It has persistently been too far south/west. Strongest +heights build into the GoA on the EPS, with a deep trough again digging downstream over the west coast. AO and NAO are still positive. Persistent ridging showing up on the east coast. This is what I see on the means. And we are approaching mid March. But sure, it's not impossible. It could snow.
  8. lol one last LR GFS digital snow fail. Dime a dozen.
  9. Damn 2009 was pretty remarkable for snow thinking back. That storm in March, and then the first of the 3 epic snow events in December for the following winter. Only 8 months of heat in between.
  10. Yeah it was the 2nd I think. IIRC that was 8"+ here.
  11. It happened in 11/12 right? Did it? I dunno. If it did, it probably sucked here. Drawing a blank on that one. I remember the huge March 2013 bust tho.
  12. 192 hours out may be the closest the op euro has gotten us to a snowstorm I am sure the way we are destined to end this pathetic winter is with a mid March MECS. Not.
  13. I mow into early Dec just to mulch the leaves. Grass is pretty much done here usually by mid to late October. I normally don't mow in the Spring until mid April, but it may be a couple weeks early this year.
  14. Its a stout kind of a weekend for me. Today I am into the Founders CBS. Have not had this in a while, but it is outstanding- even better than I remembered.
  15. Everything is early this year, but mostly chickweed and some other weeds in my case. Grass is still dormant. I probably wont mow until the very end of the month. I am in the woods out in the hinterlands so that usually puts me behind the urban folks with the extra added warmth there.
  16. Always nice to look forward, with great anticipation, to the next disaster.
  17. Rain total here yesterday was 0.65"
  18. Nice wrap around bands moving in here now. Remains to be seen if any of it is frozen. Probably not. 39 now.
  19. Mid Atlantic Fail Index.
  20. Damn I am Jonesing for steamed crabs now. Costas Inn crab meet up?
  21. Here is one- although it is 4 letters. MAFI. It is almost always extremely positive.
  22. Seeing some wet splatty flakes mixed in with the rain here earlier was the most excitement I have seen since a few sleet pellets in early Jan. What an absolutely hideous winter this has been.
