  1. Great win for the WFT, and anyone who has been watching the Steelers closely knew they were a paper tiger of sorts. A good team, like Buffalo and others, but not a dominant one. They could have lost almost any of those 11 pretty easily.
  2. Backloaded is how we roll here pretty much every winter, when we do actually have a winter, that is.
  3. My WAG is our best chance for some legit winter will be mid Jan onward, and that is at least partially dependent on the Nina weakening and a transition to a -EPO. Not saying we don't see some brief help in the NA at times, but to expect a persistent -AO/NAO seems like fools gold for a multitude of reasons.
  4. Wooooo they actually scored!
  5. Maybe. But there are certain markers of a dominant team. They win ugly a lot. They are clearly very good, but not likely to get past KC. That being said, the Ravens were dominant last season and blew teams out on the reg, but were one and done in the playoffs. Resting players and bye weeks don't always work out either.
  6. He is nothing if not predictable.
  7. Yeah third and 10 from the 1.
  8. Well that was decent. Was about to consider flipping over to Hallmark. Or Lifetime.
  9. The bad news for Washington- the Steelers are pissed and motivated after being wholly unimpressive in barely beating the (hated) depleted Ravens last week. Good news is, they are the worst 11-0 team ever, and are eminently beatable.
  10. 30 here too. Dropped 5 degrees quickly after sunset. Perfect early Dec day, other than we missed a coating of snow just to the south.
  11. Best thing that I can say about the Euro Weeklies, it that they are the Euro Weeklies. The skill is far less than the 15th day of the one EPS run they are initialized on. That said, the new edition has a craptastic EPAC most of the way, with varying degrees of NA help to partially mitigate. Nothing surprising there, since we are already seeing that now- it is simply a continuation. Some hints of the AK trough relaxing way out there and maybe a transition to an EPO ridge, fwiw(not much).
  12. Me too. Your team is in great shape, and a long time coming. Enjoy the run.
  13. You mean redskins? No, the WTFs.
  14. Drinking a STRAIGHT OUTTA THE SOUTH STREET LAB Triple IPA. Haven't had this since late Summer. Super good juicy IPA and 10% abv. A tad pricey at 26 a 4-pack, but worth it.
  15. NE MD and N DE pummeled by a flizzard. @frd yard jackpot.
  16. High of 37 here after a low of 30. Currently 35.
  17. Excellent read. My buddy in Conway was in the biggest bust zone. Ended up with a quarter inch of mostly compact/partially melted flakes after a bunch of rain.
  18. Verbatim its a trailing cold front from low that moves across the Great Lakes, and there is some pretty cold air behind it. The WA high looks like it slows the progression of the front some, and there is are a couple of shorwaves digging south ahead of the western ridge. Too much analysis for day 10, but that is a pretty interesting set up.
  19. Just clouds in the forecast here, but 20% chance of light snow for Easton. Might see a flake or 3 driving south in the morning.
  20. Well yeah that is a projected mean, but it certainly would not be a shoutout look for the latter third of December, esp up your way,
  21. Word is Lamar will start for the Ravens Tuesday.
  22. Yeah I get that. Hopefully the Nina does in fact weaken towards mid/late winter. I am skeptical of any sustained AO/NAO help, because it has been so rare in winter lately, and unfavorable QBO, etc. Maybe our best shot would be a -EPO period if the Nina eases some. Ofc a SWE can also shift things in the high latitude troposphere.
