  1. This is the one- Eastern Shore Brewing 'Strawberry Shakedown'. Its a DIPA.
  2. 38 here this morning. Probably the last time I see 30s for a long while.
  3. I tried an IPA a while back that was brewed with strawberries, and it was damn good. Can't recall the name off the top of my head. I need to find it again.
  4. Always drink plenty of water. Hydration is way good. Other than morning coffee, and beer/booze, that's all I drink.
  5. Stop at Terrapin Park right near the Bay bridge in Stevensville. You can also stop at the Winery(liquor store), which has a great selection of craft beers to build your own 6 pack, including the DFH high gravity stuff. They are in the Red Apple Plaza on the end towards Safeway.
  6. That's all me by the sounds of it. With any luck I will be out that way sometime this summer.
  7. Yeah that was me, but I said where the only months it "cant snow" are the actual summer months. I more had the the Canaan area in mind. There are lots of places like that out west for sure, but yes most are on the pricey side, otherwise you are literally in the middle of nowhere lol.
  8. Burley Oak is great. Not tried their sours though, as I am not a big fan in general. I need to give that genre more of a try I guess. Maybe the sour/sweet balance would be more palatable to me.
  9. Even tho we almost always over perform on heat, I will take the under for now. 78-82 looks reasonable, with maybe a day of mid 80s. This excludes DCA ofc, which may very well be 90+ for the entire period.
  10. Never any hand wringing over heat in this region. It will arrive, and it will be perpetual.
  11. 34 this morning(just after midnight), 35 yesterday morning. Didn't have to cover any of the tender plants.
  12. Happy Mother's day to all the moms here. Gorgeous day. Enjoy!
  13. Terrapin Park in Stevensville is one of my local favorites. Its literally just across the bay bridge. Lots of trails and you can walk along the beach. I go there often. Great place to pick up driftwood, which I kinda collect. I have not been since the COVID restrictions, so you might want to check if you decide to go.
  14. Still looks like a stretch of somewhat above normal temps will arrive by the end of the week. Several days with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s looks likely.
  15. Low of 34. 37 now as the sun comes up. The slow warming trend has commenced.
  16. High was 48 here today after a low of 35. 46 now and windy.
  17. Cherish it. It will probably be 90 in a week or so. We are lucky to get through half of May without our usual subtropical climate dominating.
  18. Didn't take any before shots, but there was no view beyond the canopy of green in the foreground- lots of undergrowth and brier growing up numerous small trees. Took it all out.
  19. Nice. Similar to my view from where I sit in the loft, except I have a stone fireplace in the center, it's not snowing, and my trees are green, lol.
  20. 47 here. Enjoying this late Feb day.
  21. Just a perfect day for doing any outdoor project, minus a bit of wind. Just spent a couple hours cutting back the undergrowth along the edge of the woods out back. Amazing how much it opened things up. I now have a partial view through the trees of the farm behind my property, which I enjoy in the winter months when the foliage is gone.
  22. Great times my friend. The Hotel Rehoboth was kind enough to feed the 6 of us staying there 3 meals lol. I didn't really plan on not being able to go out and get something. Place was shut down.
  23. Yeah that's the last update, and what I was referring to in my post above. We just cant know. 60% is essentially a flip of the coin. If it leans one way or the other, my wag is cold neutral.
  24. Well there certainly was next to nothing this past winter for the metros points east, and the misses weren't close. That is the definition of a pure crap winter- pretty much skunked. A ratter.
  25. The recent 2 Nina winters were better, and one was much better, with slightly above avg snowfall around here. The bomb cyclone was epic.
