I'm heading to Kent Island tomorrow to donate blood. I try to do it every 2-3 months. This should be interesting. The protocol is different- had to make an appointment, and only 2 donors are permitted on the bus at a time. Masks are required ofc.

It's the nature of this area that the only 'surprise' events we generally see are complete suckage.

That works! Prince was iconic. Probably a top 10 all time guitarist. Highly subjective ofc. eta- Indisputably one of the best performers of all time. Probably up there with Freddie Mercury in the rock genre.

Yes! Its awesome, but hard to find. I have had it a few times and it is as good/maybe better than the original. The other one with vanilla bean is my least favorite, but still good.

Its a lot like red wine though with off smell/flavor potential. MUST have a super clean glass to pour it in to avoid ruining the experience.

Post your "review" when you are about half way through it lol. My impression is dark fruit and dark chocolate, and obv boozy. Big time malt. Not very hoppy at all. Hard to beat that combo.

Nice day here. Around 60 with plenty of sun. Has clouded over now. Tomorrow looks very nice, esp early in the day.

Put it in the freezer for 20 mins. I like to start off with it really cold, then let it gradually warm. Don't drink it fast- sip it. It opens up as it warms and the flavor profile really comes through. Savor it! It is one of the best ever imperial stouts.

I know a "younger" person who got it, and he ate a seriously bad diet. Like McDonalds everyday. We all have choices of what to put into our bodies, although some are genetically predisposed to it. That being said, its dumb imo that many health insurance policies still insist on what amounts to an invasive procedure to get "checked", when there are other, less expensive options.

Mount Holly AFD- The bolded sounds familiar. Pretty much what happened with this last "event". Some other dynamics appear to be in place for this one though. We shall see. Potential for some heavy rain exists.

Drinking a Pherst Pitch from True Respite A damn solid, very drinkable IPA. eta- hop character on this one is very nice. Overall it leans a bit toward the juicy side of the IPA spectrum, which I like. Enjoyable!

Awesome. I did drink an aged one at DFH in Rehoboth. It was like 18 bucks lol but worth it. But no. I never can age a WWS or a 120 min IPA at home lol. Impossible.
