  1. 2010-11 had it at least early. Most people make reference to Jan 1996, but storms like that are pretty rare around here in a Nina. I am fine with the reality that the likely path to a decent outcome with a setup like this is by getting hit by multiple smaller events. Everyone can root for what they want and set "bars" ofc lol. Wont make any difference in the end.
  2. I suppose it would be disappointing, but then again, Ninas for the MA tend do that, HL blocking or not.
  3. 3.8" It slacked off here some after noon and with temps at 32-33 only got another 0.8" . Pretty much done by 1:30.
  4. Hopefully we get some legit Arctic air pressing in later this week. That makes it so much easier to get some frozen. I got in on the good banding and that was the difference in overcoming the mild surface today.
  5. Feeling optimistic? Just because we did well today doesn't mean we don't still suck. I am sure we will find a way to be mostly slop to rain in the lowlands.
  6. No sun today so far. Cloudy and 34. Probably the highest temp of the day post snow(was 37 this morning when it was raining). Looking forward to it all freezing solid tonight.
  7. I told Cobalt a couple weeks back how solid a poster he has become. You have as well, and I probably thought it went without saying. But it is worth saying.
  8. Your over-under prediction was spot on for my yard!
  9. Mount Holly did pretty well as usual. They were wrong on their counties along I-95 with the WSW, but here and further north they went with advisories, which mostly worked out. Over in DE they may have been off with the advisory, as some places probably hit min warning criteria.
  10. 34 here and cloudy. A bit melty but looks like most of it will survive. With the cold coming in tonight and tomorrow probably not much more melting until Tuesday.
  11. I am definitely horrible. I probably jipped myself out of an inch of snow by only clearing once and taking a total of 2 measurements. I hope I can be forgiven by those that take this way too seriously. I was too busy being in the moment and enjoying it.
  12. 1/25: 0.3" 1/31-2/2: 4.2” 2/7: 3.8” Total: 8.3”
  13. That is what I recall. It was forecast to stay south until the day of the event. There was a crazy gradient with that one from the northern part of my county to down south. Had a foot here, but southern Caroline was rain for most of it and ended up with 3-4" That was just after I moved here. Westminster had around 18" in that one I think.
  14. Light snow here now and 33. Looks about done for accumulations. Very enjoyable event. It was difficult to get additional accumulation after noon. Still managed 3.8" total. Too bad it wasn't a few degrees colder. Would have easily been a 6"+ storm here.
  15. That was a great storm. Also a bit of a surprise IIRC. Was supposed to stay south.
  16. Most guidance had your area doing well with the fgen. Congrats. Hoping this last band pushes me close to 4".
  17. I measured and cleared at 3" an hour or so ago. Should have done it earlier. Under this band now that has really blossomed as it approached. Snowing heavily again with huge flakes.. Might end up around 4. Temp back down to 32.
  18. The big flakes are back with this nice band moving through. Probably the last hurrah for any accumulation. Temp has crept up to 33.
  19. Huge snow missiles falling from the trees here lol. Kind of cool.
  20. Hoping to keep the light/moderate snow going for a while and then clouds most of the day here. Models have been showing temps maxing out around 36 here before dropping.
  21. Nice! That band has moved off but still some moderate snow falling. Measured right at 3" about 20 mins ago.
  22. Man I would love to see some reports from central/southern DE. Looks like a crush job there.
  23. Measured a little over 2.5" otg when I was outside at that time.
