Generally the same for my yard. 2010-11 was around average iirc, and 2017-18 and last winter were slightly above average.

Pretty decent outside right now with somewhat lower dewpoints. Temp is 83 here. Enjoy it while it lasts. Chuck's long predicted 'big heat' is nearly upon us.

0.90" with the initial line that was training NE but finally sank far enough south to get clipped. More development to the SW. Can hear the booming thunder with that.

We have a 'moderately' warm period upcoming. More humid than hot. IF the seasonal trend continues, maybe we can largely avoid the second summer of Sept and Oct, and have seasonable temps and humidity. Would be nice for a change, but we are probably due for a longwave pattern shift.

0.2" here. Everything fizzled as it moved east last evening. The earlier stuff missed to the northeast. Its the time of the summer where cold fronts tend to weaken/dissipate and we have nebulous localized boundaries around that help initiate convection.

The advertised pattern on the means suggest big heat remains in the south central/western US. There will be some 90+ days in our region for sure. Typical.

Still no indication on the means of any prolonged 'big heat' for the MA and NE over the next 10 days.

Looks like pretty 'normal' mid summer weather over the next week, with temps in the mid to upper 80s. The comfortable MA summer continues for now.

That line that hit Annapolis bowed out and split as it moved over my area. The northern part appeared to have some rotation per radar but weakened. Nothing of note here other than some downpours and T&L, but the southern part of it was severe with hail and 60-70 mph winds. Denton over to just south of Harrington in Delaware were hit hard with multiple reports of tree damage and a roof blown off a house near Andrewsville DE, with estimated winds of 80 mph. -
Right now they are in the conversation for a wildcard spot. Lets see what happens over the next couple weeks, once the hot streak ends. If they can get to/over 500 and maintain it, then it will be interesting to see what they decide do as the trade deadline approaches.

Shocking. Not a pattern I would expect to produce 5 days of 100. Ens means could be off. Chuck will probably be right about big heat eventually.

Mancini is the only older player I would think may be untouchable. Ofc he would be desirable to a contender and probably bring the most value in return of any of the O's vets. He is the inspirational leader and has stated a desire to stay, but is a FA after this season.

It will be interesting to see what happens as the trade deadline approaches. This team plays hard and is fun to watch, but they aren't likely a serious contender this year. In order to get them towards that goal in the next couple years, trading some key veterans might be the best course of action. Problem is you potentially break up team that has really gotten fans excited again. Tough one.
