I looked on tropical tidbits and saw nothing.. and couldn't figure out what he was seeing
-
I have to think there will be daily seabreezes with such a contrast with the mid 60s water. The hot spot might actually be where the compressional heating is worst which could be around the Southern State Parkway area or just north. Since NW is a downslope direction it’ll definitely heat up for everyone though.
-
Healthy reminder not to get your forecast from internet wishcasters . Some were even saying hot and muggy today If you can believe that.
-
Yeah, it looked like you got a solid up that way. As for me, I got a solid too, except mine was a solid pile of excrement...lol
-
Nice pic, and yeah that's exactly how it's looked this week. We leave today so I don't think we will see any sun until we get up in the airplane above the clouds. It's back to reality in the oven when we land at DCA tonight. Acadia is nice but holy cow is it overcrowded. I don't really understand why. The facilities in the park are also woefully under designed for the number of people that show up. I might go back off season in the snow or something but I wouldn't return this time of year.
-
ahhh...I thought that looked extremely odd when I saw that. I didn't catch there was an error.
-
Come on Wiz, get it together kehd.
-
It's wrong. COD has an error. That was yesterday.
-
Thought you meant here. Congrats steers and fracking facilities.

I don't know about Fall when the low is near 70.
-
Could be a wild evening and early overnight that way, probably a 1-2 hour window for some big TORs too.
-
I see nothing?
-
Yeah... "daily" thunderstorms sounds like something that seldom occurs here... The models may show that from 7 days out but what you're more typically going to observe is one day of it. After which it shifts south or southeast and we're watching trains of convective complexes from eastern OH to central NJ. Maybe a renegade shower over White Plains NY.
-
I would have to say I agree. It would probably take a classic (sulfate aerosol) tropical volcanic eruption of a Mount Tambora, VEI 7 scale, to have a profound effect on global temperatures at this point
-
Look to get through June with no Tropical activity or systems on the Atlantic side
-
It's a beautiful Fall morning.
-
Only picked up 0.14" from several lines of storms yesterday. Great news is the humidity and temps are MUCH lower this am! Currently 56.5/55.7 after a 55.3 degree low. Sadly, we bake starting Sunday.
-
It actually kind of sucks. Figured I'd work outside and wear shorts today but its cloudy and cool. Put on a little light jacket and may have to switch to long pants.
-
It feels great out this morning.. nice cool breeze
-
Euro has a seabreeze on Monday afternoon but torches us badly on Tuesday afternoon with temps near 100 at 8PM still.
-
3km has some violence later today
-
Eric pumping the moisture feed into NM and the Upper Midwst wet the next week. Next meanigful rain shot Sat night (isolated mainly north) and Wed pm / evening.
-
It’s still an overall warm look.
