Yeah. Upton pretty much just canceled all the the frost warnings for the coast here in CT... Frost coverage at the coast, where the growing season remains in effect, looks to be patchy at this time.

wtf??? Kick the field goal!

>40° diurnal here today. 28F-71F.

-PDO for different reasons, though...which is important down the line IMO. -

I am sticking by the well established trend we’ve had for the last 46+ years…..El Nino/+QBO = warm December in the northeast/midatlantic. It’s not just a strong signal, it’s an EXTREMELY strong signal. All of them ended that way without any exceptions. I see no reason to believe otherwise right now. If I’m wrong then oh well, I’ll own it -
LOL. As expected. It only gets worse from here.
-
Sigh. Back on script

I actually had 1981 as an analog, so I wasn't suprised by the early warming last year...I just didn't think it would end up as a full reversal..it was close. -
Sunscreen wx

Oct/Nov 1972 had a warm Stratosphere But there are only 5 Super Nino analogs since satellite data in 1948 so it's not like you can say something that usually happens 10-15% of the time not happening is statistically relevant. It's interesting that we are diverging from the Super warm Dec - 2015

26 to 66. It's a beauty out there.
-
Last year had some impacts I'd say. This is clearly a stronger event than last year & earlier I think. Either way, hard to say exactly what impacts it might have now & later since we are still so young in our atmospheric climatology.
-
5 weeks from now…we don’t know what pattern may be? And it just takes one night. Odds become greater with every passing day bro.
-
We’ll see?
-
What a day…Autumn at its best. Frost this morning…,67 now.

0z Euro, full split by NOV 7 10mb 50mb One week later warming still undergoing 10mb 50mb Regardless if u-wind reversal occurs (full SSW), this is very impressive! Is there another year comparable? Is there another super el nino that has an early warming & comparable to this? -
No. Pattern is furnaced
-
Too bad it’s not a 30 min game lol

Burrow has 0 points in the last 6 quarters against Baltimore
-
You’ll freeze before that.

Offense has dominated, and defense has played lights out, but only 13-0? Bengals are gonna wake up at some point. Some bad throws by Snoop in that last series. Should have had a TD.

No, i'd rather have cooler weather. Kankakee's October is avg for Raleigh NC. I lived in SC for 17 years, I remember it well.
