I wouldn't be surprised if we saw as many as another half dozen days here in the lower valley where we flirt with 90. Seems pretty easy to do down here
-
-
dry boundaries, eventually cool dry fronts NW to SE. What we need is a distinct change to Meridonal S-N flow we see more in the fall/winter.
-
Do you base your forecasts off of model print out numbers ? If so, no wonder why you’re clueless . You don’t look at a model .. ok it’s showing 84 so that’s what it will be
-
Is the Euro still showing 90's? How about the last week of August?
-
Temps in 70’s and 80’s -near 90 as week goes on the next 7 days with strong sun and 50’s dews early /mid week . Amazing how fast he drops his webs on our face. Steinan Helmet
-
I know. I thought the same.

New regime

Next weekend looks warm to hot. It’s torched aloft…caveat will be sun. May be another weekend where CNE/NNE does bigger anomalies.
-
Imagine spiking a football because you said there would be a mid-August cold front. Bold claim. I bet sometime between Sept 10-20 we see a cold front.
-
The table is set for a BIG winter. whatever that means
-
Are we gonna need something tropical to get rain next 3-4 weeks? HP with NW flow doesn’t scream showers with any fronts
-
I won’t really consider it back broken until later in September when we finally get cooler weather. 75 to 80 is still summer to me and we totally have that in September especially now that it’s torched.
-
No, that I’m not predicting, but this last week and this weekend it worked out pretty good from a while back. Scooter knows.
-
It certainly seems that summers back is broken after the sun goes down today. There will be some more 90 degree days ahead and more days with >65 dews but the staying power of those are certainly fleeting

NEW DISTURBANCE: Central Tropical Atlantic (0/30)
GaWx replied to BarryStantonGBP's topic in Tropical Headquarters
Looks like it will be slow to develop. JMA doesn’t recurve it but it slows it up NE of the Leewards. Good chance for a recurve if Erin takes her sweet time to get out. -
I was referring to my comparison of the people on here and grumpy farmers. No one is ever happy lol. Today was another horrible weather day working outside. I keep reminding myself that I chose this life lol. Today is in the top 5 nastiest days of summer imby.
-
Yes same here. Maybe it's a model we're not aware of. AHHAT is predicting the last week of August to be 85 to 90. Don't see that either.
-
Nothing like a cirrus shield fropa today. Man is Stein really hitting now
-
Hoping for at least a couple of more pool days. This upcoming week will drop the temps decently. Already down to 78F.
-
Climo's begun the slow decent ... At some point ... January is still going to happen whether summer wants it to or not. It's just a matter of how the speed bumps orient between now and then. those that want that to happen will exaggerate the progress right away. those that don't will ignore the signs as being any kind of descent. somewhere in between reality resides. That means it can still be 100 for a couple or three weeks, but getting lesser possible with time. It also means there can be a cooler air masses with mirror increasing probabilities with time.
