  1. Past hour
  2. I would wait until after 12z.. models still all over the place but south and west of here does look best as of now.
  3. Yeah and hilly terrain up there in NE PA so not good. The placement could still change a bit as we're 24 hrs+ to go
  4. Sure did, add the whole house fan into the equation and sleeping wasn't too bad. Low got down to 67⁰ this morning, 72⁰ by midnight. House was 73⁰ when i woke up this morning. The house was almost 87⁰ at 9 pm last night... Nope.... Yeah, if they cant get it fixed today...the next 2 days are going to need one for sure. By Friday evening, windows will be wide open for sure
  5. For the past three runs now the 3k has honed in on eastern PA as the recipient of the rain deluge.
  6. Back to our ongoing “Hawk talk”, this guy has been hanging out on the edge of our pool and on our basketball hoop. Young red tail? He/she is loud.
  7. Yeah a brown 1-2” cut monoculture lawn does not make a drought. We had a wet spring. Normal habitats are fine.
  8. Tough to be nervous when dissapointment becomes baseline.
  9. along those lines, my town has eliminated the permit fee to install an irrigation well
  10. Lawns (while I love a nice, lush, green one) are not great as far as maintaining a minimal environmental impact. They soak up a ton of water and don’t keep things as cool as native species. that being said, a stressed lawn is more susceptible to disease, etc. rain would certainly help. Dry July for sure.
  11. Tied record 'warm minimum' with 2015 with a 69.0 low. Currently 70.7/69.4 at 7:50 am. Yuck. This weekend is gonna feel SO much better!
  12. Good luck with that given more cool ENSO...let me know how it works out-
  13. Good timing....I'll be traveling mid-month.
  14. I don't really water either-it always comes back green in the fall
  15. @Stormchaserchuck1 Here comes the very beginning of the dry/warm pattern we expected to start for the fall. Looks very likely that the heat builds right back come mid-late August and it also looks like it drys out with the STJ dying as you expected
  16. I don't hate it because it slows the growth of the grass down...I don't water, I just maintain it.
  17. Wow! Finally! Picked up 1.85" of rain last night. Crazy amount of lightning and thunder for 3 hours. Weather looks unstable for the next few days with a real cool down this weekend.
