    Definitely not ready to dismiss the Euro. 4 to 5 days out is an entirety also. I’d prefer the miss myself but I can’t see it not having some kind of impact Friday to Sunday.

    Euro/Euro AI should win pretty easily here. You can see it already with all of that convection in the western Atlantic.

    Storm looks on track. Can't wait! Didn't want to go golfing or the brewfest anyway. Much rather sit by the computer for 4 days checking wind gusts at Blue hills. Sickos.

    BDR had the record rainfall and onshore flow and is a good distance from NYC. So nothing artificial there. NYC is the only urban station so cool. Notice how it compares to the closest sites.

    Euro is fully onboard for a classic storm, the other models…not so much. GFS is staying off coast completely while the others are showing a late hook in but mostly off shore as well. Again, five days away, obviously anything is possible.

    Lots of convection ongoing in western Atlantic. I'm surprised NHC has 0% odds of anything developing. SSTs are well AN in that region.

    We should see less divergence in the major guidance later today as the storm starts to take shape off the coast of the Carolina’s.

    The GFS continues to focus on the synoptic forcing near the mid latitudes for the primary surface reflection development; whereas the Euro and euroAI are much further southwest with the best area of surface pressure falls, driven by tropical forcing — latent heat release.
