  1. Past hour
  2. 54F here in Lanco. Closer to normal. Beautiful morning. .
  3. Chris when did it hit 90 the other time at JFK, was that 10/8/2007? Did Newark hit 90 on that date too?
  4. I get where you’re coming from — most of those standard sites are overloaded with ads and not really built for serious users who need accuracy and speed. The truth is, if you’re looking for something on the level of RadarScope or beyond, off-the-shelf “free” tools usually fall short. Cost savings in the long run often come from going the custom route.
  5. wow this is very interesting and sort of like how the first week of April has more snow than the last week of March lol
  6. how strong was the September 1882 TS4 when it made landfall on Long Island, Roger?
  7. It just works out that the first week of October has warmer record highs than the last week of September. 8. Yes indeed this was the other 90+ day I remember from October. The even more extreme one was October 2, 2019 when it hit 95-96 here with a HI of 100 lol
  9. The odd thing is the first week of October has been warmer, I know of at least two occasions in my life when I experienced 90+ in October. And even 95 a few years ago. Warmer over several days but nothing too extreme. 80+ is what we got last year in November too (and as late as November 15 in 1993.)
  10. I disagree, models have hinted for days it will strengthen somewhat due to the interaction with Humberto and peak near Bermuda. It looks as healthy as it has its entire life this morning. Not saying it’s likely but this storm has not peaked yet and the window for cat 3 is still open
  11. MDT ended September with a mean temp of 70.2, good for 13th warmest all-time.
  12. Sept Monthly total 3.79". High temp 87....Low 49
  13. Low 60 and pleasantly dry DP 52. First day my DP has gone below 60 since Sept 22.
  14. Didn't have to wait that long lol He tore me a new one via text just after the game last night
  15. CFS is MUCH warmer.....my stuff is seemingly a compromise of the two.
  16. DJF hardly below normal from around the N shore of Boston points NE into Maine screams late-blooming Miller B, to me.
  17. Oh boy a few hours late sorry DCA _NYC _BOS _ ORD _ATL _IAH __ DEN _PHX _SEA +2 +2.3 +2.4 +3.5 +1.6 +2.1 +1.4 +1 +1.6
  18. Hello October ! Jeez, another month flew by... low 47F feels great!
  19. JFM looks around normal precip for most of SNE....precip is probably the most inaccurate aspect of seasonals, anyway, which remain relatively inaccurate in general. Seems like there maybe some late developing Miller B events that are going to pop in the N stream. Latest run has picked up on this more, as it's not as dry in New England.
