I know I'm not the only one that wants this place to continue being what it has been (for the most part)--a place for analysis and sharing information & passion for tropical meteorology. -

Can't figure out how to size it down, but sure does look pretty coming in. https://imgur.com/a/fVQ7R5P

look at that sky!

-
Power just went out briefly..the poor dog doesn’t know what to do lol
-
HRRR yesterday advertised this well, the HRRR was just a bit more southwest. It handled yesterday well too from the day prior. It’s redeemed itself a bit lol
-
That's an August storm if I've seen one. I remember such a setup in Aug 2003, PVD/SE MA got smoked. Great shots *edit* SST's aren't quite the killer for you south folks Aug/Sept =)
-
Extremely heavy here for a few minutes Back side looking from Coolidge Corner, with clear blue following it… A hint of a rainbow too:
-
First measurable August rainfall imby today — 0.04”

2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season

As fun as they are to follow, it is no fun to be in the bullseye. Conditions non-conducive to development is A-OK with me. Sorry for you lot in Old Blighty who want to map these buggers. -
I really dunno…I’ve never heard that part of Braintree called that. I suspect it goes back to pre 1900’s and nobody calls it that anymore
-
1.5 inch hail they are just to southwest
-
The 90 day total is still low IMBY. 0.67” Tuesday was not a drought ender here. It’s going to take another 2 inches plus cooler weather to get things green again.
-
Weather nerds are never happy.
-
mid-levels cooling enough for that size hail? sick. I didn't check out soundings, that's a good storm though. Right along the seabreeze intersection, plus outflow from SE NH sdtorms, with weak cf boundary?
-
I’d watch Abington and Whitman for potential microburst
-
If that storm ever anchored to the boundary it might do something interesting. Got a nice shape to it
-
Where is Teabagery? Never heard of it
-
At least that’s what that said anyhow
