  1. Past hour
  2. Anyone mowing twice a week has lawn OCD. There’s probably a pill for it now.
  3. Beautiful day. Summers winding down fast!
  4. It was on radar. Groton all the way up. I had some too. So did the cape.
  5. The low level flow was SSE which upslopes the CT hills . The valley had nada yesterday. . Look at qpf totals. I know this area better than anyone
  6. Yeah its absurd how fast it grows. Usually we get that dormant period like Scooter has but 2 times mowed in 5 days.
  7. You mean mist? It was all over yesterday. Plus you had NE winds which downslope as you know.
  8. Def a shit weekend with sheet upslope mist yesterday and boring rain this morning. Should see some sun this afternoon at least
  9. Yeah its frigging pouring as ASOUT. Those calling for a bust sit down. Horrible weekend AWT
  10. CAMs not showing much but I'm really curious to see if we can pop anything this afternoon. CAMs are more bullish to our northwest (which makes sense) but we're going to break out into some degree of sun (at least up to and WOR) and should destabilize rapidly. Mid-levels become rather dry, however, I don't think that would be a negative today because the llvls are quite moist so air rising rapidly would negate that a bit and this would also help strengthen downdraft potential. LCL and LFC are also relatively close throughout the day so it isn't going to take much to get parcels to really accelerate. Coverage isn't going to be widespread but any means but I think we'll see at least a few decent cells with 1-1.25" hail and strong wind gusts.
  11. 70 with 58 dews. My balls are enjoying this. Good lawn mowing weather
  12. Line will weaken a bit. Meanwhile pouring in Dennis.
  13. The heaviest extends well south of Long Island. The only way you don’t get poured on is if the line does a 7-10 split over you which I could see 1 in 3 chance that happens
  14. My face is as red as Henry Rollins in that video seeing the same spots getting drenched again
  15. .51” last night…5.97” for the month. Mosquitoes out in force!
  16. Pretty impressive monthly totals. 3.27" here in Garrett County so a lot lower than most folks but we've done pretty well overall this season. Looks like our hottest day occurred in May of all things - 89.2 looks to be the best summer had to offer this year imby.
  17. It’s moving almost due east . Slight north of due east
  18. Yea that’s what I was thinking, but even if we get a third of that cold we are in business february
