  2. September PDO’s value was higher than last September’s. -2.x instead of -3.x
  3. Let's have some fun. Let's guess when the first official freeze will occur for Asheville, Charlotte and Raleigh. Here are my guesses- Asheville-October 29 Charlotte- November 8 Raleigh- November 6
  4. Jerry's on the ACE board! Let's see if he can get us at or above average
  5. As usual we're aligned with our logic... which may not be a good thing this year... hahaha. Imho, if this winter is going to be friendly we probably need a good start in Dec and that's certainly possible in a nina. If Dec is a warm whiff I kinda doubt a backloaded comeback. I'm rooting for big snow/cold out west in Nov. When I lived in CO, nina hot starts usually had some sustained +PNA stuff in Dec. Which was frustrating then but perspective and things. I'll be using the Jackson Hole indicator in Nov. If they're getting dumped on mid/late Nov, we'll have some chances here in Dec.
  6. Please, you were saying that it was going to be .25 for most people...... You were also saying that the storm for the weekend wasn't happening. This is showing anywhere from .4 to over an inch for everyone.... Which is what we were saying for the last few days
  7. It’s all about that s/w diving in from the Canadian Plains. Does it fly east or does it dig south into the Great Lakes.
  8. That looks more likely but you never know. No one does. Almost time for the return of the Wolf.
  9. Yeah it’s all hypothetical anyways. Could just be breezy with some drizzle.
  10. The last time in October 2021 you busted massively and admitted it. If you want winds you want one of those sou’easters with a meso low embedded in it. A coastal with that high will just help wedge in colder air over the interior. But verbatim gust to 35-45 is a lot better than any snow event in the interior anyways. If this somehow turns into that, or it rips west like in my example than that’s different.
  11. It's not showing too much precipitation up this way.....but I suspect the winds will whip up some decent surf. Good day to visit the beach.
  12. I think they could be good.. maybe head up to the top of mount wachusett
  13. I’ve seen these over the years roar in hills. All conjecture . Still seems south option is real
  14. Nope inverted probably. Only way is to have this captured east of ACK and ripped west to western Long Island. Other wise it’s 25-35 with maybe a gust to 45 inland.
