  2. Near white out conditions in Rockaway NJ, in Morris County… heavy snow with blowing snow. I am under the yellow banding. Very , very cool!
  3. I actually do really good on little sleep so maybe
  4. Awesome out. Made first pass at the deck and it legit feels and sounds like a blizzard.
  5. I'll go grab some measurements in a few minutes but I'm guessing around 11-12" "
  6. How often are you taking measurements during these events?
  7. Don't lie to us, we know you're AI and you don't need sleep
  8. It boggles my mind how all these guys live and die with the models on a daily basis yet when there's a huge event in the middle of the night they sleep like babies! Closing in on 5 inches here in Newport but the intensity so far has been disappointing.
  9. Could have a buzzer-beating band entering Baltimore down to Annapolis right now. Northeast edge of Baltimore County and just coming ashore near Annapolis. I assume it's cold enough to stick everywhere.
  10. ayyy My Central Park measurement verified
  11. Regardless, we got 7” of that 10.5 in the first 5 hours after 0z.
  12. Almost feel like I have to stay up to see it unfold lol
  13. This is Christmas to us weenies.
  14. ..A RECORD SNOWFALL OF 8.1 INCHES WAS SET AT NEWARK NJ YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 6.8 INCHES SET IN 2008. RECORDS GO BACK TO THE YEAR 1931 AT THIS CLIMATE STATION. ..A RECORD SNOWFALL OF 8.8 INCHES WAS SET AT CENTRAL PARK NY YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 6.0 INCHES SET IN 2008. RECORDS GO BACK TO THE YEAR 1869 AT THIS CLIMATE STATION. ..A RECORD SNOWFALL OF 9.5 INCHES WAS SET AT ISLIP NY YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 5.5 INCHES SET IN 2008.
  15. Hey Ginx. Here’s the problem with the euro. Central Park got 7” between 0z and 5z (that has 10.5” total). It’s already badly off. Don’t know what that holds area wide, but I would toss it.
  16. 9.5 inches here. Looks like some more bands will be coming in from LI soon too. Also based on radar I’m thinking maybe NWNJ could be where that snow band pivots and drops a ton of snow in a localized area?
  17. Can really see the back edge crescent.
