  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed 100%. Kevin trying to call it warm autumn lmao… it’s exactly where it should be.
  3. But here again…you’re taking about the future, for which you could be utterly wrong. This is stupidity. We were talking About what has already happened. This is sad…this is what you do, you compare something that hasn’t happened yet, to something that has. It’s comical Kev. I think you’ll be wrong about the winter as a whole…but we will see?
  4. I don’t call it anything. It’s just a reality of living where I do. Pretty uniform temps outside of the “urban” cities here. I just love the clean, crisp, cooler air that this time of year can deliver. It’s my favorite season.
  5. I'll let anybody who bet on October revise lmao
  6. I’m perfectly fine with growing the garden , keeping lawn green , not using much heat in the warm autumns moving into warm winter. If you can prepare your own mindset for a mild , wet winter it helps with getting angry or stressed when it’s raining in DJF. At least for me
  7. Every area has its advantages/or disadvantages… depending on ones perspective. In this case/regard…we cold. We freeze. And have quite a few times already. Nothing fake about any of it…fall frosts and freezes, or early season elevation snows…it’s real as real can be.
  8. There’s always ball busting on here, but honestly don’t think anyone tries to make you feel bad for missing out… I mean you get great joy out of using your air conditioning as much as possible, think of it like that. Some folks don’t understand it. 30F
  9. The nonstop sunny days with the autumn foliage are putting on a nonstop show. Was in northern lower MI for a few days. Took the Skybrige at Boyne Mountain. Absolutely incredible.
  10. Yup, down to mid 30s now. Brrrisk out there. Call it fake but there is a unique feel to living in the lowlands/“swamps” of SEMA.
  11. Here’s where you’re completely incorrect. Nobody is ever TRYING to make you upset at ALL. YOU ARE the one who takes the reports of frost and freezes, and turns them into people trying to make you get upset. Honestly, NOBODY is trying to do that. You on the other hand, take the reports of the frosts/and freezes that way, and then say, Alot of the area hasn’t frosted or frozen yet, because you haven’t. Which is a complete falsehood. It’s all good bro. You’ll get the 3” of snow, while the rest of us get a dusting to a half inch if we’re lucky, in an early season marginal event. The difference is, I/we won’t tell you it’s fake, because it was only elevation dependent.
  12. But seasons are seasons . Of course it’ll cool off in fall and heat up in summer . I’ve just never been able to understand the frost excitedness and wildness and people trying to make me feel badly for missing out

  14. Many locations outside of New York City will be in the 30s tomorrow morning. New York City will likely be in the lower 40s. The NBM has been remarkably stable. 10/23/2026 23z NBM: Allentown: 32° Bridgeport: 38° Danbury: 31° Islip: 40° New York City-Central Park: 43° New York City-JFK Airport: 44° New York City-LaGuardia Airport: 45° Newark: 41° Poughkeepsie: 30° Westhampton: 34° White Plains: 37° The AIFS (12z) shows 39° for Central Park. That's probably a bit too cool. The spread (standard devation) for tomorrow's high temperature has increased.
  15. It’s all about the step down…it’s where we live Kevin. It doesn’t go 85-90 during the day, and 69-74 at night. Then the next week it’s 55-60 during the day, and 29-35 at night. It’s all about the step down Bro. We are stepping down, and have been for the last 6-8 weeks. We live in SNE/NNE, this is how it goes. And It’s not about what good it is. For somebody who’s lived in the northeast all your life…you have some silly f’n ideas .
  16. Today
  17. What good is 29 at night and 60 during the day ? I’ve never understood the wildness about frosts in the fall . Kills gardens , makes folks use heat/ burn oil and by noon the windows are down in the truck
  18. Down to 42 here. We cold.
  19. Well most of the fall… October and November isn’t CAA…just RAD. But yes, you’ll win in CAA for sure. But you torch all month, and will continue to for the foreseeable future. Keep picking the peppers and what not. They’ve been plowed under here for two weeks plus now.
