My gut says we get in on a fair amt of Southern overrunning events this season with AN precip. Majority of these end as rain but the few we end up on the cold side of the gradient will yield chances for classic overrunning thumps (6-10" types). In addition, I expect at least 2 classic Noreasters this winter, at the very least, with 1 potentially being a 'big dog'. Overall, expecting AN temps to go with those AN precip anomalies but we should have some chances to cash-in. Slightly below to near normal snowfall. Going to require quite a bit of.....patience

We don't have any local TV people doing a winter outlook any longer. Glenn and Cecily are gone....Kathy Orr FOX29? YouTube weather people seem more positive for the east coast. Precip will most likely be there but is it the mixed bag/snow to rain crap or all snow?

While doing a weather search for something, the weather channel popped up....Jim Cantore (still there) celebrated his 40th anniversary this past July at the station. Man, I'm old...
