The Iceman
1.3” yesterday. 5.1” on the month. Pleasant day today and should remain so the rest of the week. I turned off the AC a day too early on Saturday and needed it for the humidity yesterday but back off for the foreseeable future, hopefully until 2027!
BBasile
Added 0.67" last night, 3.61" for the month. Some pretty damned good weather today.
Hurricane Agnes
Ended up with a deluge of 1.82" Sunday night and a leftover 0.04" yesterday morning for 1.86" 2-day event total. Got up to 73 after a low of 62 yesterday. Have scattered showers this morning with 0/21" in the bucket, a much cooler low of 56 so far, and a dp of 56.

Newman
12z Euro looking like it maximizes our weekend nor'easter/hybrid system east of the Delmarva and swings it right into the Jersey coast sub 990mb. Biggest worries are going to be coastal winds/rain/waves. Inland areas are unlikely to see serious impacts beyond gusty winds and outer rain bands, unless this thing trends closer to the coast with a faster dumbbell/slingshot west.

I'm going to the classic car show/Irish weekend in Wildwood this weekend. Perfect timing, as per usual. If it's going to be rained out, may as well do it right! lol

Both Euro and GFS 6z this morning have it missing us completely and into Boston. Which is good cause it's Homecoming at the school this weekend and my wife is freaking out. Why I have no idea.

BBasile
Coastal flooding is going to be the issue. Seems flooding is a theme for Irish Weekend. This is from Irish Weekend three years ago in North Wildwood. Guess I know what I'll be doing down there. lol
ChescoWx
Our stretch of below normal temperature days looks to continue through the weekend before a nice moderating trend next week. We look mainly dry through Friday and then we will have to watch what the coastal storm does to see what if any impacts in may bring this far west of the coast. See the ChescoWx vs. The NWS 7 day forecast for EN below.

The Iceman
It is actually insane the amount of model spread we have 48 hours out. Euro/euro AI continues to give most of the area a legit northeaster, GFS/CMC continue to be a glancing blow. ICON/`NAM have moved in the EURO camp. The RGEM is in the GFS/CMC camp. If this was snow, people would be losing their minds lol

Mikeymac5306
I do believe this is going to be a major problem for the coast. However most of us are Philly, or points north and west and our impacts as of this post should be slight. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. 1

Im going to go ahead and say it....*IF* the Euro, and the NAM particularly have the right idea, this will be top 3 storm for NJ. 1 of course Sandy which most of us will never see again in our lifetimes, 2 being Ash Wednesday 1962. This could easily be #3. Just my wag attm based solely on NAM/Euro combo

For perspective iirc 1962 was roughly 60-72 hrs of stall/wobble. We saw what those prolonged / sustained ENE winds did.
