Intense storm here. Very strong (guessing 58+ mph wind) and hail nearly quarter sized. Best storm of the year. Pouring right now still.

Everyone overdoes winds but hard to see how that wasn't severe. I got soaked standing under a covered porch.

Gust front definitely helped.  Rainfall up to 0.64" now.  More on the way.

LV swing and a miss strike 3 we are out of t storm chances for today. The 7 10 split lives on. Just incredible outflow boundaries preventing us from getting decent rain. 50 miles on either side of the lv gets 2+ in of rain.

This is no longer funny. Another week of no rain and temps near 100 , the little lehigh will go dry in spots. I really see a drought emergency issued by Lehigh County Authority by next weekend. The lawns will be burned if people mow them this week and corn will be spiking.

Yesterday and today are an unfortunate miss here but the dry region in Berks is getting some.

2.40" the last 8 days the local farmers are happy that saved the corn. Next 7 or 8 days look dry.

Hearing a few calls for tree removal on the Gloucester Country fire band.  Heaviest rain approaching soon.  Temp is down to 71.6F.  Not bad!

Ended up with 0.14" where the heaviest hit SW of me.  I have 3.95" for the month so far, so it was not a desperate need for now.

Currently overcast and 77 with dp 73.  Heard someone on Accuwx earlier today mention triple digits again for later next week .

Everything falls apart when it sees the LV it seems the past few days. Maybe there is an invisible dome we can't see.

Quite a storm in Philly today. Saw some reports of a possible tornado in West Philly and wouldn't be shocked based on the damage I saw driving through West Fairmount Park. Severe tree damage, power was out and several spots were under a foot of water

Didn't see the rotation on radar for that.  Mt. Holly says straight lines.

Total whiff for the lv tonight. Whatever padep or usgs comes up with for drought maps this week, they mean zilch. Let the real drought reports begin.

A great couple of days ahead with temperatures running slightly cooler than average for the dates before a warmup gets underway on Tuesday. Some of our cooler valley spots may see low temperatures in the 50's by tomorrow morning. Our hottest day and best chance for widespread 90's across the County will be Wednesday. We cool a couple of degrees from there to close out the work week. Not much chance of any showers through at least Friday.
