From mid 60's to mid 50's to low 50's to now upper 40's...

I am beyond pissed off right now. The warmth is delayed and almost denied, but the cold push will be right on schedule.

Saturday
A chance of showers before 7am. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

I’m basically alone but I absolutely adore days like today. Mid to upper 40s, drizzly. I really should live in Ireland.
I'm with you on this one.

Truly what I adore are those June (they cut off lows in the love June for some reason) backdoor cold fronts with a cut off lower where it's drizzling, 60, with a stiff east wind for a few days. Bonus points if it saves us from baking like our friends accross the mountains to the west. I remember once we sat between 56-63 for 3 days while Pittsburgh was in low 90s. I actually felt made for @Voyager who I think was on the verge of driving out there just to spend an hour in the sun.

Thanks for sharing. I'm well below normal as well. I know that many here only care what MDT has recorded as their basis for for determining snowfall, but I'm WELL below what MDT has recorded this winter and quite frankly...to me, that's what matters.
Are you as worried about the drought like I am?

I can’t wait for more drought maps right after it rains… great times ahead.
Just give me one more good snowstorm & then I will be ready for Spring.
Haha. We need about 10 more of last night in next 4-6 weeks to be 25% below normal

I'll believe it when I actually feel it. If someone ever attacks our mainland, I hope they level the Appalachian Mountains...

Sunday: A slight chance of showers between 7am and 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60.

Which weather stations have you had experience with tell me the ins and outs of what everyone has learned. Thinking of getting the one on the link below

I suppose that was a little bit harsh, but those mountains are separating me from nice weather. Cold air damming is such a good name for it, because when it happens, I'm like "dammit"...lol

But anyways, just to be clear, I was being facetious, and in no way wish harm on our state, or anyone's life or property who live in or on the mountains.

On the flip side, it would give you more snow since the mountains wouldn’t be there to eat up clippers/maulers.

I thought the Ambient wasn't reading wind correctly, but after getting the Tempest, my wind speeds have not changed. I'm so protected by mountains on both sides of me (I live in a low area at the top of an inverted V formation). As such, I'm never going to get the impressive gusts that other, more open locations can get no matter which station I have.

As for the Tempest, it's decent, but you better get a separate rain gauge or way to measure melted snow in the winter because the hepatic rain gauge won't pick up snowflakes.

Turns out the Ambient was a good PWS, and I'm actually thinking of buying another one.

I am. It's been an ongoing concern for months.

That's kind of a strange comment to make when some areas of the LSV are already in a moderate to severe drought.
