what the heck....a few days ago people were in here talking about how winter is over, or snow is done, its too dry, and i even read a piece in nj.com that we are near drought conditions....well we shall see...

and you said you emptied the gas out of your snow blowers - that might have sealed the deal !

this is by far the most talked about winter so i would grade it a -A only because we should have 50-60 inches so far

I'm not sure how old you are but we've had some really good winters the last 35 years. This winter doesn't compete with those yet. Let's see where it stands at the end of March.

True dat, but at least we did have a winter.  Relatively short, as it looks like it we will be in a warming trend to close out February?

The March 2019 snowfalls were during a cold spell...mostly 30s

it snowed over a weekend iirc.....my son was supposed to have surgery that almost got canceled. that melted and then it snowed again on sunday i think....both around 5-6 inches...

Calling this winter "relatively short" ...don't know about that, Dec and Jan both with -3.5° temp departures and double normal snowfall for many of us. Feb with a -9° departure so far. Of course we've been so dry this month however.

Really good winter. Cold and snow pack longevity, at least one big storm. Below normal temps Dec-Feb but needs one more good storm (6"+) to move this winter from a B to an A. Snowfall currently near average

Feb has 2 weeks left so we'll see if it can deliver something otherwise it'll be a solid B winter. March weather is always extra to me.
