A little off topic here, but I just went over to the mid Atlantic board to see where their heads were at on the storm and let me just say that they were giving nazi-esque vibes with their over moderation. I appreciate this board with 100% sincerity.

There’s a lot of people who let their emotions get to them when it comes to the weather and sports. No one on here expects the weather to behave the way we would like it too and nobody expects the models to be accurate all the time. If this storm ends up being a bust, I’m not going home and being a (bad word) to my family over it and the same goes for Tennessee sports. What I am going to do is tell my family I love them, Pray with them and go to bed. I know I’m not guaranteed tomorrow.

The ICON went Canadian on us. Major ice issues up to 40 and just north of it.

The ICON was also much slower with the arrival of precip than other 6z modeling.

The GFS looks slower with the precip at 12z as well.

Well as soon as I posted that, the next two frames came and it essentially caught up with the 06, and is a little big larger with the snow shield on the north side.

GFS is leaning back into its south look from yesterday.

This GFS run is likely going to be way different than the last two.

Not as much interaction with the baja low and I think it's going to leave it off the coast of Mexico again. This model.....

It's going to end up decent for most, but nothing in the ball pack of what the potential is for this event.

This is almost like 2 events in one....overrunning, meeting MillerA or A/B hybrid. If they link just right, you get the 6z GFS extreme

Please let the GFS be its normal garbage self here.  I can't take watching the deep south get 2 feet while we get 6-8 inches.

CMC looks better on the baja low connection that GFS. We'll see if it goes full ice mode like it has the last couple of runs

Of course it's also having issues being released. But literally just day after day of snow across Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.

The GFS just looks wonky that run.  Snow just sits over the middle to lower Mississippi, AL, GA for hours on end.

The ICON looks overly amped.  The GFS looks under amped.  Blend them...and looks good.  All I am doing today is throwing the models in a blender.
