just an FYI - There is a new weather modeling site that i found that is pretty nice. Custom zooms, decent selection of maps, and nice graphics. Its called https://synopticwx.com/

I believe it will eventually cost money for access, but it is in Beta right now and free to sign up.  Here is what the 06z Euro showed for our wednesday system

Seems like the only thing that can go wrong is the suppression that's being modeled now. Tons of time left though.

We were asked about having sunshine in January. Lake ice coverage on Lake Erie is a big factor for this, as higher ice coverage shuts off a main moisture source when we have northwest flow. Lake Erie ice coverage was 2% on January 14th. It's hovered around 95% since January 27th. Rapid ice growth!

Will be interesting to see if February is also below normal like what's forecast.  Can we have Dec., Jan. and Feb. all below normal temps and above normal snow?  When was the last time that happened?

Idk idt even 2010 had all of that. Feb pattern wise looks promising.

Currently -14 here. I was trying to explain to my wife that we were as close to freezing as a 78 degree day. She was not amused.

-7.4 Here but my sensor is on porch  &  protected
