0.8" from snow squall early this AM. Seasonal total now at 12.5" image.thumb.png.eb596c6bfa2a91acd66eab5cdc3bd7da.png

Probably about the same. Snow blowing off rooftops which is cool to see.

Unless I missed it did you crunch the numbers on how much we were below normal temperature wise for December?

For just East Nantmeal 30.4 average temp which was 5.9 degrees below normal. Will compile all stations and year later today.

Happy New Year

Thanks.

Not to be greedy but when we are minus 5.9F I think we should have scored more snow than we actually did. Either way, this December was a solid "A" grade.

See below to see how snowy this season has been so far....greed is good as a famous actor once said....but a Top 20 start to the winter snow season is not too shabby IMHO!

With our 7th winter "event" of the season we are now at 12.5" of snow for the seaon to date. This is 175% of normal snow through New Years Day.

This is in fact the 17th snowiest start to a winter season here in the philly burbs of Chester County PA. Below are the 36 seasons with at least 10" of snow through New Years Day with the ending snowfall for the entire winter season. There is a high correlation to above normal snowfall with such a relatively "snowy" start to the winter season. image.thumb.png.56a266fae17aa5c3eb33e06eda5a37dc.png
