I should probably hold off on posting these images tbh. LOL! The social media panic is read. Looking to get ahead of it tomorrow AM with some propane tank refills. That Canadian run did not sit well with me.

I really hope this is snow and not ice, not just because ice sucks, but also because Asheville and the surrounding area could really use a break from infrastructure-wreaking storms.

This is my real concern at the moment. We don't need any other damage like that.

This could be a real mess and Asheville will not be prepared if this comes.

I think we will get more sleet than ZR in this type of setup. Asheville could turn to ZR quicker than east of the escarpment, but this is a strong high. Places west of Asheville have the trickiest forecast if it turns into a Miller A/B hybrid of Miller B.

Yeah they do. I've seen Franklin go from snow to rain we stay snow and Asheville mixes. Can get crazy in these setups.

The Euro is coming in a bit stronger with a 1053 mb high pressure and is capturing the upper low in the Eastern Pacific. It's going to be a big winter storm producer.
