Tyler Penland
Stalled out at 10.0/10.2 here in Foscoe. Truck read 9 when I left the store in Blowing Rock and the wind was howling through our lot. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro using Tapatalk

It looks like that’s the case (rotated quickly through and out) per 850 temps on the models: 7PM in degrees C last night near the coldest brrrrr! 1AM last night had already warmed some with coldest already rotating to E NC/VA: 7AM this morning had warmed a lot everywhere!

gopack42
What's the thinking for the week to 10 days ahead for us mountain folk? Hope we don't get too too warm although I'm not disappointed we won't go through what we did last night for a while.

Maggie Valley Steve
I had a low of 26 this morning and a high of 54 this afternoon. It looks like wet weather arrives Thursday afternoon into the evening hours with a cold front. The models indicate we will have highs in the mid 50's and lows in the 30's this weekend heading into Christmas Eve. I'm enjoying a break from the cold temperatures frankly. It's certainly not a so called torch that the drama queens have been wringing their hands over!
