NorthHillsWx
I’m shocked there wasn’t a flood watch this week. I think we’re under our third flash flood warning of the week

Here in Greenville, N.C. the temperature has been in the 80s for several days which would normally be nice but the humidity, omg! Scrolling through the airport data the RH has been pegged at 100% for almost every 20 minute reading with the lowest humidity in three days (as far back as the data goes) at 94%. Heat index today reached 101F. When do we get a break?
marsman Posted yesterday at 12:50 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:50 AM .82" yesterday and .47" today. Dew currently at 79. High of an awful 88.1 at 6:30pm.
olafminesaw
As we move out of this wet stretch, much of the state experienced fairly impressive totals. Greensboro is the one exception and is only a bit above Average MTD: Greensboro 2.5 Raleigh 7.81 Fayetteville 3.58 Wilmington 3.94 Charlotte 6.09 Asheboro 4.84 Greenville 6.

I am now right at 8.00" for the month. I am surprised Wilmington is so low. Is that at the airport? I just checked some Ambient weather stations in and around Wilmington and many are well over 6" for the month.
NorthHillsWx
I’d thought we missed the rain today but I was wrong. It’s pouring. Made it up to 86.7 but with dewpoints in the upper 70’s it felt like it was almost

It was insane snow! I moved here in 2008. I missed the big boxing day snow in 2010 as I was visiting my wife's family for Christmas. We did have a white Christmas there though, so I can't complain too much.
