Hurricane Agnes
Wasn't sure if I'd get there but I did tap 90 today just after 2:30 pm. That was day 4 in a row for a current heatwave and have now had 6 of 9 days in July of 90 and above. For the past 3 months (MJJ) so far, I have had 13 days of 90+ & 1 day of 100. It's currently a partly sunny and hazy 88 with dp 72.

But even with some with fairly steady rainfall, like with stratiform events, the rainfall totals can vary over short distances. I use all my local Davis stations on Weatherlink, and more often than not, the totals are at least a bit different. And the stations are all within a few miles of each other.

KamuSnow
Getting into some pretty heavy rain here. Very dark, radar looks good, a little thunder and lightning, no wind to speak of. Lots of rain, a quarter inch in the last 5 minutes. Eta - make that 1/2" in 8 minutes! Let's make that 3/4" in 10 minutes, lol. Getting windy now too! Now 1" in 12 minutes!

LVblizzard
Worst possible timing for this line of storms. Union vs. NY Red Bulls was supposed to start at 7 and they delayed kickoff 10 minutes before. Now it’s uncertain if they’ll even play the game tonight. Glad I didn’t buy tickets.

Yeah, my son is town there. Luckily his buddy has season tickets and they offered admission to The Commodore Club, so they are dry. Just praying for a safe ride home.
