ChescoWx
Shower chances increase by late today. We could see a couple of thunderstorms later today and continue tomorrow morning. This should be a pretty healthy regionwide rain event with at least 0.50" to 1.50" of rain for most of us in the north and west Philly burbs. After that, the weather looks great for the weekend. Temperatures will start well below normal tomorrow with highs struggling to escape the 50's in ridge locations, but we will warm back up slightly above normal with highs in the mid 70's for Mother's Day. rcostell
Observation: The repeated underperformance of rainfall amounts in our part (western Camden County) of SNJ has been notable. Amounts from the last several events to the west and in some cases to the east on the coastal plain have been significantly higher. Soil moisture and vegetation are continuing to suffer. Last 2 days have featured minimal rain- not enough to wet under the trees and radar looks to be winding doiwn rapidly from this event, Dry begets dry it seems.

ChescoWx
This morning was our chilliest morning since back on April 28th. The lowest temperature was the 43.5 at Warwick Township just to the south of there here in East Nantmeal Township our low was 44.8 degrees. After yesterday's rain we continue to inch closer to normal rainfall for the year to date diminishing any drought concerns for this growing season. We are at 88% of normal rain today and only 2.18" below normal. We should have a beautiful weekend for all of the Mom's out there with our cooler than normal temperatures today warming to a little above normal for both tomorrow and Monday. Rain chances increase again by Tuesday morning.
