2” here just outside of Boone. Little tiny flakes.

Radar looks great. Our rates will really go up in the next hour or two.

I really hope you’re right!  I’m gonna stay up for a bit and hope for the best.

how much longer do you think we can keep this up?

'till the wheels fall off!!!  but seriously, looking at storm track just based on radar returns at least another 6 hours.  Read earlier, someone mentioned the warm nosing getting up to Bristol TN.  Not sure it will make it much past Caesar's Head SC

Thanks for the info. Didn’t mean to sound like a downer. Where are you in Boone? Near downtown?

No not at all I always worry about the radar when it gets to gametime. and I'm out on 105 by the bypass.

I just saw several blue flashes in Asheville. Not sure if it was lightning or transformers blowing (didn't hear anything). About 9 inches and absolutely pouring snow.

Game time is here!  Snowing, but really light. Small, diamond like flakes with a few larger ones mixed in. I’d lie to see some bigger flakes at this time, but it’s supposed to snow all day tomorrow and into Monday. I’m off of 421 east of town. Good luck to both of us!

Pretty heavy snow in Old Fort right now. Haven’t measured since around 9 but looks around 4 or 5 inches out there. Very pasty and sticking to everything
