Potential for a light accumulation on Sunday as flow becomes favorable briefly, between 12z-0z and again in the tues-wed time frame..

A cold front crossing the region Saturday night and Sunday will
bring renewed strength to lake effect snow across the region, with
activity waning some Sunday night-Monday with the flattening of the
upper level trough above. Ahead of the next longwave trough of low
pressure snow chances will increase Monday night-Tuesday with both
synoptic and lake effect snow possible. As the flow becomes more
northwest later Tuesday and into Tuesday night with a deepening
coastal low, lake snows will be favored to the south and southeast
of the Eastern Great Lakes

Winds have been roaring the last couple hours and are mixing down nicely behind that front. Those deep post frontal winds really seem to sound different than normal wind.

Lake Erie is showing the first signs of life.  Off we go.

Winds are absolutely roaring here as well, not sure for sure but I would guess were gusting over 50 as the house is shaking. Snow board is all ready to go.EC8_A73_ED_895_B_4971_8845_F0_A390_FC173

First flakes flying here. Look at those SW bands with loads of moisture off Superior. Going to be some crazy totals there.

Whether kbuf proper gets hit, that's another question. That's more nuanced. The north extent of your bands is more similar to the problem we face on the south shore of Ontario. Nobodies quite figured out how to forecast that. But Hamburg. U good. South town's, u good. A foot plus.

At least from my outside perspective. Good luck. We want pics!
