The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Tornado Warning for: Southern Barton County in Southwest Missouri. Northern Jasper County in Southwest Missouri. Until 8:30 pm CDT. At 8:04 pm CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 10 miles northwest of Jasper, and moving east at 40 mph. Hazard, tornado and golf ball size hail. Source, radar indicated rotation. Impact: flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile Homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include: Avilla, Boston, Carytown, Dudenville, Golden City, Jasper. Kenoma, Lamar Heights, Lamar, Maple Grove, Nashville and Oakton.
