amt5626
Snowing here in Strongsville. Picking up in intensity by the minute. Really good last minute trends here for us. Thinking we easily fall into the 6-10, locally more where the backend and lake effect snows hit.
NEOH
Good to hear its snowing west of here. We've been in a bit of a snowhole in Geauga county.... the ENE wind always slows the onset. Just started to snow lightly about 10 minutes ago. Sounds like it picks up quickly. CLE upped snowfall amounts everywhere.
Floydbuster
I work in Summit County, I'm considering calling off if it's too bad. I don't have to make that decision for a few hours. How heavy will the snow be around 3-3:30pm, ya think?

OHweather
I think with the last second amped trend and backend lake effect many of your will push or exceed a foot.
amt5626
Just for giggles, Euro absolute crushes northern OH. Widespread double digit totals, all shifted north quite a bit from last night's run. I'd say the ceiling has definitely raising here. Would love to crack double digits, a foot + would be fantastic.
HO1088
The runway visibility has been a bit better than reported at CLE. https://rvr.data.faa.gov/cgi-bin/rvr-details.pl?content=table&airport=CLE&rrate=medium&layout=2x2&gifsize=large&fontsize=large&fs=lg It's been up and down but more often than not better than the 1/2 mile reported. Could be our best storm in quite some time if these trends hold. Light/mod snow here. Should pick up considerably later this afternoon.

dta1984
Updated snow graphic from CLE 12-18 for most of ne Ohio. Nice turn of events for us.
vpbob21
Just walked outside to get the mail and it's downright brutal out there. Sustained winds probably 30 mph with gusts 40-45 mph. We have been in between bands of heavier snow for the last couple hours but according to radar better snow is about to move in. Hard to measure but probably around 2.5" so far here. Floydbuster
Momentarily, the snow has completely stopped here in Stow. Not even blowing. Just nothing. Calm.
dta1984
I'm staying on the west side for the weekend so I'll get a measurement from home tomorrow evening. For now, about 3.5" near Elyria, very hard to measure with alot of drifting.
Benadrill
Vid from my back parking lot. The winds are starting to pick up.
amt5626
I have about 7.5-8 inches in the grass right now. So storm total around 6-6.5 at the moment. It's really dumping right now, and wind continues to pick up. Level 3 snow emergency out in Huron, Erie, and Ottowa counties. Incredible! Hopefully everyone is staying indoors. HO1088
The airport has 3" for the event as of 7 pm, but that number is probably effected by the strong wind.
Floydbuster
Still very little. It's dark but I can see small flakes falling at a good clip but at first glance outside, it's still calm here in Stow. Very strange. We had a couple inches but nowhere near how bad it was between 2pm and 5pm.

That's crazy. What an awful total so far... not accurate at all. CLE has always had issues with measurements. The west side has been under the heaviest returns for quite some time. NEOH
What a great storm. Going with 10-12" for a storm total. It's almost impossible to measure with the strong winds.

dta1984
About 11" is what I'm coming up with. Definitely hard to measure. The drifting is definitely the worst I've seen in years around here. The one day warmup and rain on Wednesday will really turn everything to a glacier.
