snywx
Tomorrow looks like a 2-4" event for most in the area... This weekend looks like it has some real portential for the interior.

IrishRob17
Too bad this is the NW thread lol... We don't live on the coast I think there is still confusion because of the title, on my phone the subtitle doesn't appear so this thread looks like it's a general general thread about winter. IrishRob17
I just heard the forecast from Fleet Weather, calling for 4" south of I-84 and 2" north of I-84. Luckily for me I live about a 1/2 mile south of 84 so I'm locking up my 4" and calling it a day

Lgt coating on all surfaces I've been aiming low these days, I just haven't seen anything yet to gain my interest for us, so just seeing falling flakes is a plus. White Gorilla
Come on, can we at least get 1-2 inches? Tired of the screw jobs! Im hoping this weekend gives us something nice, but not holding my breath.

I still think 2-3 is a possibility Its not the radar.. The radar returns overhead are deceiving. Ive had consistent 20-25+ dbz and have managed very lgt snow on occasion. Just a few flakes flying now and believe it or not but the skies have brightened

jdt
Estimating about 2" thus far in Sparta in the SE part of Sussex County. Expect to end up with about 3" or so. Though I hoped for more the data was pretty obvious the best would once again stay off to the S&E of us. Seems to have been a lot of that the past few winters. Don't worry eventually we will have our chance to bask in the glory of a good old fashion NW event where the city sees 1-3" then 3-5" in the immediate suburbs followed by 4-8" about 30 miles NW and then the big jump to 12-18" for us true NW locales! It will happen. Not today not tomorrow (maybe next weekend) but it will happen!

snywx
Looks like we have a batch approaching NE PA.. If this doesn't produce then 0 for 3 it is..
Juliancolton
About 0.4" so far. Stuck to the pavement and trees briefly, but by the time I got my camera and put my outerwear on, it melted off everything except the grass. Radar sure looks less impressive than I anticipated, but those bands out in PA are darkening up a bit. Oh well.
