backend on the hi-res stuff has been getting better... backbuilding is the one thing we always do well. HRRR and RAP at this point both do have another light round in the AM before flipping to ice, which LWX hinted at in their last AFD

It’s days like today I’m very thankful for the rare view of grass (albeit artificial) in DC. Might prevent me from going insane when North Cap never caves

Wow! A win for some of the very aggressive modeling. Think that bodes well for the GFS' jackpot zone today, and hopefully for the rest of us too.
