My interest might be shifting towards the ice event this weekend. Pretty consistent across all guidance.

Things really did fall apart with the December storm the moment he left. One has to wonder... I did have the chance to talk with DT on the phone a little while ago... definitely an energetic guy but overall a nice dude. I think he mentioned this here but he's moving to Charlottesville around March -- might be a causational link between that and the recent tendency of finding a way to draw Charlottesville in the jackpot zone.

I can't believe that DT cursed me with that map. Just when I finally thought I had willed this event to jackpot Charlottesville. Onto the next.

Pretty clear differences in snow algorithm. I'd lean WxBell's since it seems grounded in reality.

Got some bad news boss, looks like another jog south. I'll wait till the run is closer to done before making a firm assessment though.

12z comparison -- I'd say similar but 18z pushed northward ~25 miles.

I'd call this the first wave. Pretty weak sauce.

Through hr35 the 18z EURO has taken the slightest jog northward. No major changes so far, really.

Honestly, you are 100% right. I was complaining earlier this week when it seemed I might miss north and south and now I’m sorta asking people not to moan. That’s on me.

For sure! I'm excited by them, especially down here where they've been consistently good. That said, I'm trying to adopt a different mindset as of late. Taking a three hour walk through the past storms has really helped me just appreciate the beauty of it and not watch the radar. With the ultimately underwhelming compared to expectations storm this past Sunday, walking through the massive dendrites was just amazing. Didn't know what was coming up on the radar (not that the radar ever tells you what's happening down here in CHO) and just enjoyed it in the moment. that said the EURO has promised me 10"+ multiple runs in a row and if I get less than that...
