  1. Nice looking storms with some rotation approaching CHO. I’ll be in class... hopefully it passes before I need to bike home.
  2. Wouldn’t mind some good Rt. 29 storms today. I’d even consider chasing if they happened after 5:00pm or so. I’ll have to see how the timing works out.
  3. This program has its problems, but it nailed the MD (and GA/SC looking at it) tornado threat yesterday.
  4. That velocity/storm presentation looks legit. Someone on a forum I follow was nerding out about this wind profile, can’t read ‘em myself but maybe others could translate.
  5. Wind sucks. Too bad we do it so well.
  6. Noisy storm down here in Charlottesville.
  7. Picked up my shot on Thursday. There were open appointments down in North Carolina so I sent a message to the clinic there and they were enthusiastic about getting more shots in arms, so I went. No reaction other than a slightly sore arm.
  8. Beer still tastes too much like beer. I can definitely taste the nectarine though, which is an improvement!
  9. Anything helps! Slows the exponential growth.
  10. Snow would be a nice bonus, but I'm just happy to have a freeze to kill of this early wave of bugs.
  11. Have I ever mentioned that I hate wind? I feel like we've had way too many gusty days this March.
  12. Wow, that one might’ve just hit the house. Heard the sizzle.
  13. Real loud thunder down in CHO. Maybe it’s the mountains, but the thunder always rolls in. Very cool.
  14. For real, now I'm interested. Ellinwood was honking on Twitter a little bit earlier too. I'd love to do some casual storm chasing in my neck of the woods. I've seen some local guys chase and get great photos around here.
  15. Taste remains very basic (I’ll try something more fun next time!) but celebrating an internship offer, a good test score, and a beautiful day.
  16. I'm not good at telling these things but I thought it looked like it might be trying to wrap up a bit as well.\\ Couple scans ago I thought it was trying to push out a hook, looks fairly normal right now.
  17. That's gotta be a heckuva tornado on the ground.
  18. Radarscope is a must. Top 10 purchases of my life, probably.
  19. I’m hoping so, haha. I’ve only been fiddling around with it for 45 minutes but it seems very useful, especially for a desktop radar. Something about RadarScope’s radar still looks more visually appealing to me but I’m trying to shift the GRLevel3 radars to use the same color table. Looks like there is also cool GIS stuff to be done with GRLevel3. Lots of potential fun to be had. I’m excited to own it.
  20. Just bought GRLevel3. Life changed. Ready for severe season with the dual monitor setup.
  21. Tangerines are the correct answer. Or a really crisp apple. Dried and really sugary mango is super addicting, but I barely count that as a fruit.
