Thanks for the response, and I 1000% agree. Just don't want to end up relying on too many weenie rules at once. North trend from the Carolinas and dynamic cooling are already 2... don't know how many more we can handle
Now that I have a real job I fear I won't be swim coaching as much this summer, so I'll have to live vicariously through the NVSL antics that get shared on this board as well as @SnowenOutTherekeeping me up-to-date on the CSL. Gonna be an adjustment not having that be the main part of my summer.
Following Matt’s lead and calling it least 0.1” now. Sucks having an actual job in the morning or I’d see this to it’s finish but I’ll let a spotter report dictate my final total. Thread was a win by this winters standards… no regrets
Cars are healthily topped and snow is moderate. Looks gorgeous in the street light… hanging a bit above freezing in Arlington’s urban core. Can’t see into the neighborhoods but I have to imagine it’s sticking to the grass. edit: found grass. Confident something measurable will be slant sticked nearby.
Realize it's nearly nowcast time and hardly matters but the RAP/RGEM stay good for around an inch or so, 10:1 at least. I think I'm setting a 2:30am alarm to take a glance out my window. Not prime snow walk territory where I'm at in Courthouse but maybe I can stroll into a neighborhood.
I think I probably stretched it myself on accident tbh - it’s just a U.S. counties shapefile I pulled off the YouTube tutorial I found. Manually selected the ones I wanted to but than adjusted the map to fit the canvas(? definitely not the right word) when I was adding the legend and title.
Not worth going back and forth more than this, but compare that to the radar image shared above, that’s all. If what you circled is what makes it here that won’t do it, hah.
