  1. Gonna look like deep winter in your parts, no matter what falls. Should be a fun time!
  2. Jury is still out for specifics, but it certainly has a shot. The west-central portion of VA has that look to it. Not sure at the Richmond area/metro. Didn't take too close a look out that way.
  3. Yikes. That is a nightmare for sure. Glad you found one. Nothing worse than being stuck with no way to find relief, whether it be gas or....yeah lol
  4. You'd never want to leave Germany if you went after drinking that beer lol I hear Bavaria gets good snow
  5. This sounds like a nightmare scenario and actually a bit specific. You okay over there? lol This is exactly what it is and the guidance is getting full support on ensembles too. In fact, it may even trend colder if the synoptic setup stays the way it is. Good for winter weather, but someone in this sub, the warm nose will lurk and ice will be pure hell. I love your hood for a prolonged winter event. Going to look like deep winter by Friday
  6. Awesome! Definitely a nice event for y'all. Looks like fun later this week too, along with cold. Could be ripping powder next time with some staying power. I'll be sure to pop in so we can compare her obs. Thanks!
  7. I am super concerned of an ice storm in the Shenandoah and parts of NoVA. I'd be stocking up on supplies as early as tomorrow just to be sure. That's a legit ice storm sig on guidance. The kind you see up in New England with pure northerly flow locking in the cold and sharp warm nose within the lower boundary layer.
  8. Yes and No. Front is gonna be a slosher till the end of the week. Actually doing the grids right now and debating on what to drink after this forecast is finished Pain in my you know what right now. I got as much agreement on temps as married couples deciding where to eat
  9. Dang. She came in with 5.2" as of Noon local. Just reported to Mount Holly. Wish I could get in on the snow. Gonna be 75 degrees here today haha
  10. Thanks Katie! I may in the future, so I will keep you in mind. Hope you're enjoying the parachutes today
  11. Correct! What a phenomenal site. There was a plethora of choices to make regarding what I was looking for. Made a few decent choices to add visibility to the map and it came out pretty great. Thank you so much for the advice. I'm a novice when it comes to mapping. I can read a map really well. Making one otoh.....
  12. Hey Matt. 3" at my sisters place to your north. Just passing the good word. Enjoy the snow!
  13. Thank you! My sister finally getting out of bed and is about to measure. I'll let you know what she's got since it'll be fairly similar!
  14. Hey man. My sister lives 3 miles up the road from in-town Royersford. How much snow you got on the ground right now? Any measurements would be a appreciated for NWS. Thanks and enjoy the fatties falling
  15. Giant aggregates are so much fun. That's why these are some of my favorite type of events!
  16. Enjoy man! I know the area. It's gotta be a picturesque scene in your hood right now. I can see you closing to near 4.5-5" at this point.
  17. I called it Mount Damascus for that reason
  18. Hey Blizzard! I actually was busy last night and did a drive-by post of my final map in the MA forum. Here's what I came up with, but I could be a bit off on the northern tier in PA. Take it as you will, but regardless of my map, it should be a great morning for aggregates. Enjoy y'all!
  19. Microclimates in that area are real! Used to have the same thing at my in-laws when I lived there for a year. Germantown would have white rain and I'd measure 1-2" at the house. It's bizarre, but it's MoCo!
  20. Erin, I've lived in Germantown before and the difference between certain areas of town and others is stark. At Milestone off 355 and 27, roads can be wet, but my in-laws off Brink and into the local hills can have fully caved roads and treacherous driving conditions. It's weird. Don't fret though. Enjoy the snow!
  21. Awesome! Enjoy my man. Today would be a day I'd be up at 5am, heading out for a drive and grabbing a hot beverage with some breakfast and just sitting in a school parking lot watching the sky inundate my car with fatties. It's like a zen to me
  22. You sure you want to be taking a walk after puking?
