I had to fly out to Greenville, SC on Easter for a doctor appointment on Monday. I stopped at a Belgian Restaurant downtown for dinner and had a wonderful meal. Moscow Mules with homemade bitters and in house Ginger Beer, Steak Tartare, and a wonderful Steak Frites with sherry onion gravy on top. I was in heaven! I’ll have to post more of my food in here. I love sampling new places and trying new things. I also like to cook (But haaate cleaning. Oy) .

This is a delicious sandwich. Had a bagel sandwich with those exact ingredients, but also has a siracha aioli spread and drizzled with maple syrup. It's still a top 3 breakfast sandwich for me to this day. The scrapple has to be cooked right though. If not, it lacks the textural component to bring it all together with so many softer ingredients.

Ketchup has a bit of sweetness component to balance the salt from the scrapple. I like it! Maple syrup just has that perfect sweet component to balance the rich, salty flavor of scrapple. I never thought I'd like the stuff until I had someone from philly make it for me. I was in heaven

Oh. I love ketchup with it too and YESSSSSS. You like it cooked the way I do! Best way to have it. It's the perfect texture component. Scrapple became a fav of mine in college. Going to school in SE PA has its benefits haha

Been to PNC too and it's pretty nice. The back drop with the rivers is spectacular from the Upper Levels. Pittsburgh is a cool city. Their sports teams though....

Yeah, but they wanted something with a retractable roof, so they built a new one and now it's set for TX baseball. A lot more comfort and better area too in Arlington. Near tons of hotels and amenities.

Oh yeah! I'm gonna try to catch a game at the new Rangers Stadium. My coworker was there for the NLCS (Cali boy who loves baseball) and he said it was absolutely incredible. Can't wait!

O's Game Postponed due to weather. Off to a great start cuz we didn't lose!

I'm so excited to watch the Orioles offense and defense develop this year. I'm not even going to bother with pitching. I can see a few spurts and gems here and there, but it'll be another rough one to watch. I can see this squad being sneaky good offensively but historically bad pitching, which will likely lend to another 100 loss season. Development is all I ask for. Just having a full baseball season on the TV with the look of green grass will be enough to make me happy. Happy Opening Day Y'all!

Rt 15 corridor north of FDK will probably have some flakes flying at times today. Mix in the lower elevations, but Camp David and the ridges will probably get a brush of white. Pretty stout little trough over the NE today. Thicknesses were 516-520 down into PA. Pretty remarkable for this time of year. I always welcome little blasts of cool before the inferno kicks in. At the same time, it's this time of year I like temps perfect for sunroof open and baseball on the radio

There will be many 7 runs scored, 11 runs given up kind of games this year. I just want to see improvement with the bats and defense. I already know pitching is going to be abysmal. Still fun though!

My friends in the Birmingham area live near Helena, which is a small town to the south-southwest of BMX. They avoided the tornado hitting their new home getting built by 200 ft. Just some very minor shingle damage. Absolutely lucky as heck to avoid total destruction. Their future neighbors were not so lucky with their new home getting flattened . My friends are an EM for Jefferson county (Birmingham's county), and my other friend (her husband) is a met at BMX. This is the second time he's had to go survey damage within a football field from their home in the past 14 months

Hanging in there down here. Was in the Austin/San Antonio area this past weekend. Had a blast. Ate a lot of great food, including some world class BBQ (Snow's BBQ in Lexington, TX is UNBELIEVABLE). Back is healing up slowly, but I'm stoked to see a world renowned chiropractor in SC in early April. Should do wonders and get me back near 100%, so I'm very excited. Started my own food review blog on Twitter. Slowly gaining traction. I have a domain all set and just have to set it up in full. Will have that up and rolling soon. Lots of travel plans this summer. Hopefully everything is going well back east!
