Actually ended up with .10” in the rain gauge so that’s good. The difference between Vermont and the rest of New England with rainfall this summer is substantial.
Fading as it comes off the East Slope and approaches Greenfield. Hopefully can at least wet the ground. Everything the past month just splits N or S of here.
Even the nicest lawns in town are now looking pretty crisp. The long range does not look real wet either. Hit or miss thunderstorms are not going to cut it, the entire state needs a good soaking synoptic rain.
I had a tree hit my work van in a severe t-storm and missed a telephone poll section taking my head off by about 4 feet.
I scratch my head why anybody yearns for weather that presents those risks.
