17/10 temp has not budged in two hours. Partly cloudy with a gentle breeze so that is not going to get it done for significant low temps. Probably bottom out between 8-10 degrees. Looks fairly uniform across Franklin Co. I'm posting at 12:45am because I had coffee, about 10 hours ago, for the first time in two weeks. lol

Don’t forget your mask! and I mean ski mask. Snow should be squeaky.

The company that does Franklin Co pays pretty well, especially when compared to average wages out here. But yeah, a lot of early retirees work for them and I know many of them called it quits with covid.

It might also be because lots of delays with school buses, due to driver absences, so they don't want kids standing in the cold for too long.

I don't remember what he got friday but I would have figured he was ahead of average. Either way RT 2 corridor has some catching up to do, especially the further west you go.

You are probably well below normal for this time of year, I would guess populated parts of CT and MA are ahead of their "average snowfall" to date so you will get no sympathy here.

It's just been the pattern the past few years but if you drew an obtuse triangle, with it's points being Pittsfield, Albany and Keene we have been screwed in every direction.

I’m getting ready to resign myself to accepting that Western New England is not getting much snow anytime soon. Give me SWFE’s pattern because at least I know how that will play out.

He means salt needs to be in contact with water, which it generally is when in contact with ice. Obviously in very cold dry conditions it is much less effective.

Hi of 33F so far. Cars and driveway still glazed over.

You’ll be fine. It won’t all fall at once.

32/30 now. Roads seem ok. We did not get quite as much ice buildup today as we did on Christmas.

31/29 almost over the hump. Not sure I’m gonna make it into the mid 30s but I hope so because the driveway is a train wreck.
