  1. It’s just been tough because we’ve had a total of 4” since Nov 1st, spread over multiple events, there’s no ice on the ponds and Berkshire East has about 4 trails open. I’m sure it can get better in a hurry but it’s been a tough start.
  2. Yesterday my tongue in cheek call for here was C - 1” so Harvey’s forecast isn’t too far from that. Lol Yes, I know that’s a pessimistic call for this area but I am pretty far northwest, so I can’t afford any trend East overnight. I was really hoping to pull at least 2”-4” from this storm so hopefully we get the tug West tonight.
  3. Yeah, I guess if you are under the ccb death bands or western deformation bands then 2-4 hours of SN/SN+ can make a storm memorable no matter how fast it's hauling out.
  4. Hasn't that been a given with this one from the get go? Anything over 2" here is a win as that will be my biggest snow fall of the season so far.
  5. Well, they are an island surrounded by 40° water.
  6. That’s the main point I have taken out of today’s runs. If that continues tonight then you and I might be cooked for anything meaningful.
  7. It doesn’t bother me because I’m sure it’s not done trending SE. By this time tomorrow I’ll be looking at snow showers and C-1”
  8. A lot of schools were also having problems lining up their pool testing for the kids because the labs were overwhelmed the last week. At least that was the case around here.
  9. I would even go so far as to set those ratios at a cutter has 1000 miles and a coastal has about 100 miles of play.
  10. I was wondering why you were upset with my fog post lol.
  11. Pretty much about 300’ of visibility tonight with the fog.
  12. Be fun to be in the seats for that one. Beer turning to slush before your eyes.
  13. Weenies will weenie out regardless. Set the limit at jacks of 10” but weenie goggles will buy into the run to run 18” Kuchera nocturnal emissions.
